I was just wondering how many days out of the week dental hygenienists worked and how many hours a day?

It’s probably negotiable with the individual dentist. You could work full time, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. However, some offices “rent” chair to hygienists. Basically you pay rent each month, but set your hours and get most of the amount charged to the clients. The best part is you have a captive audience supplied by the dentist’s clients.
