I was also a home health care aide. I had a lot of clients that i was by no mean certified to take care of, but my company gave them to me anyways. I was a nervous wreck but i took care of two completly bed ridden clients, along with about 15 more clients while i was with the company. I worked for them for a year. But, unfortunatly, you cannot just go take a CNA test. I actually am takin the class right now, and all they told me was that I will wizz through the class because of my experience, but by no mean do i get to get out of it, so my class is only a month long and then i get to take my test. So i wish you the best of luck. and dont worry, the CNA class is only about a month long and only cost bout 500 to 800 bucks. I wish you the best of luck
